Hope Ambassador Information
Hope Ambassadors will:
-
Be in costume at the event and will walk the runway in a group at the end of the show.
-
Help build excitement for the event by being visible throughout the show, escort guests to their seats, answer questions about the show and organization, be in pictures with guests, etc. We think many guests will want to take pictures and speak with Hope Ambassadors about their breast cancer experience, so we believe this special position will provide its own impactful experience to anyone participating.
-
Be a part of all model events in the lead-up to the show.
-
Receive "Welcome Boxes" and gift bags.
-
Be able to get free hair and makeup services at the event (as long as we have enough hair stylist and makeup artists, but we've been able to get enough both years so far!).
-
Be in the event program, social media posts, and photos of the show.
-
Have a fundraising minimum of $300 (vs. $500 for models in the main show).
Need to style of craft their own costume or find a friend or family member to do so. However, we will have several NEBCA team members available to help you "style" and create your looks - they can help with brainstorming; giving you leads on items from our Runway for Hope Upcycle Facebook Page (which will include a bunch of dresses donated from Andrea's Bridal Salon and Windsor!) or online stores that may work for your look; accessorizing; troubleshooting issues; connecting you with seamstresses for alterations; and more. And, again, you will most likely to have the option of hair and makeup for the event, which tend to add a lot to the Runway looks!
Hope Ambassadors should carefully read the documents below.
To secure your spot in the show, Hope Ambassadors will need to return the Agreement & Liability Release. In addition, models will need to complete the Model Onboarding Form and set up their fundraising pages.
