Runway for Hope empowers breast cancer survivors, helping them regain confidence post-diagnosis. ​​​​As models, survivors showcase their strength, raise awareness, and foster community ties. The event facilitates meaningful connections among survivors, promoting mutual support and resilience.

We’re looking for breast cancer survivors to join us for the 2027 Runway for Hope on April 24, 2027 at Sable Oaks in South Portland, Maine! Applications are open now through September 25, 2026

This year’s theme is Flora & Fauna, celebrating the plant and animal life of the natural world. We can’t wait to see our survivors and designers bring the beauty, strength, color and diversity of nature to the runway!

ALL breast cancer survivors are welcome to apply. At NEBCA, we consider anyone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer a survivor - whether you were diagnosed recently or decades ago, and regardless of where you are in your treatment or survivorship journey.

​

There are two ways for survivors to participate:

• Models will wear looks inspired by our theme, then take to the runway individually to share their story, helping to raise funds for breast cancer research and support in the process.

• Hope Ambassadors have a similar role, but will walk the runway as a group.
